Nanbu style kokeshi こけし by 煤孫実太郎 Susumago Jitsutarou (1908-1984). Kina-Kina style colorless doll. Originating in the mid to late Edo Period (1603-1868) kokeshi are regional folk crafts, traditionally from 温泉 onsen (hot-spring) communities where visitors would often purchase them as a reminder of their stay.
