Guan Yin is the beloved goddess of Compassion and Knowledge is found through out Asia. Known by varying names she is featured prominently in China, Japan, Tibet, Thailand, Viet Nam, and Korea. Guan Yin is the goddess of mercy and considered to be the physical embodiment of compassion.

Seen here in flowing robes, with lovely beads & necklaces standing with a lotus blossom in hand. Her headdress includes a seated Buddha Amitabha, her teacher. This statue has good weight, and the crown detail gives a pleasing depth .
